Health care student scholarships

Scholarships

At CHI St. Anthony Hospital, we aim to support students who are pursuing degrees in healthcare.  These scholarships are awarded each spring.

The Volunteer scholarship is open to any high school senior or current college student who resides in Umatilla or Morrow county.  The student must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in healthcare. This scholarship is funded by proceeds from the Gift Shop at St. Anthony Hospital. This scholarship is due May 5, 2024.

The Mary wallan nursing scholarship is open to current or enrolled students in an ADN or BSN nursing program and whose permanent residence is in Umatilla or Morrow counties.  This scholarship is funded by the Friends of Mary Wallan through the CHI St. Anthony Hospital Foundation.  Mary Wallan was a nurse in our community for many years, and she attended the St. Anthony Nursing School.  This scholarship serves to memorialize her nursing legacy in Pendleton and the surrounding communities.  An award of $1000 will be made each year.  This scholarship application is due May 5, 2025.
