Women's Clinic

The St. Anthony Hospital Women's Clinic offers compassionate and knowledgeable care to women. We understand that your reproductive health journey is deeply personal. Our compassionate team of OB/GYNs and certified nurse midwives (CNMs) is dedicated to providing you with holistic, high-quality care throughout every stage of life. OB/GYNs

Our OB/GYN physicians support you in your obstetrics and gynecology care needs, including pregnancy/prenatal care, childbirth, surgery, and treatment of diseases and disorders of the reproductive system.

 

Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs):

Our CNMs are advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) who provide comprehensive care for women throughout their lives, emphasizing a holistic approach to wellness. They are skilled in providing prenatal care, labor and delivery support, postpartum care, and management of common gynecological conditions. They also collaborate closely with our physicians to ensure seamless and coordinated care.

We provide a wide range of services, including:

  • Prenatal Care: Comprehensive care throughout your pregnancy, ensuring a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
  • Labor and Delivery: Supportive and compassionate care during labor and delivery, with options to meet your individual preferences.
  • Postpartum Care: Care and support for you and your newborn after delivery.
  • Lactation Support: Guidance and assistance with breastfeeding.
  • Gynecologic Care: Routine checkups, screenings, and treatment for various gynecological conditions, including colposcopy.
  • Cancer Screenings: Preventative screenings for cervical, ovarian, and other reproductive cancers.
  • STI Screening and Management: Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.
  • Gynecologic Surgery: Minimally invasive surgical procedures when necessary.
  • Management of Irregular Periods: Diagnosis and treatment for menstrual irregularities.
  • Menopause Management: Support and treatment for symptoms associated with menopause.

 

Lactation services

Breastfeeding can be challenging, and we are here to help!  Our on staff Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant is Elizabeth Michael. Lactation appointments can be made for babies of any age, and we recommend you set up your first visit during the last trimester of pregnancy.  At Saint Anthony Hospital, we know that breastfeeding support is crucial to success, and we can help you with breastfeeding and lactation problems. We offer lactation and education services including inpatient and outpatient lactation consults.

The Women's Clinic also offers education services, including breastfeeding classes, childbirth classes, and a mom and baby support group.
